Fucoidan – the ocean's best-kept secret, until now.
Fucoidan is a bioactive compound found in brown seaweed. Naturally rich in only a handful of species – wild-sourced from cold, remote waters – it's as rare as it is remarkable.
Over 4,000 studies have explored its role in immune resilience, gut balance, and overall wellbeing. It's even thought to be one of the forces behind the Okinawans' famously long, vital lives. We're bringing it out of the science journals and into your daily ritual.

If this sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
Always catching something
Every office cold, daycare bug or seasonal sniffle finds its way to you, and you're often still run-down after everyone else has bounced back. You wish your body's natural defences were more resilient.
Skin that won't settle
Adult acne, redness, a complexion that's lost its glow. You've worked through topical products, yet calm, clear skin keeps slipping just out of reach. You feel your skin needs support from deeper than the surface.
Running on empty
You get through the day but you don't feel vital anymore. You can remember feeling that energised spark, and you'd like that version of yourself back.
Feeling a bit off
You're feeling inflamed, foggy, a little out of step with yourself. You have a general sense that your body needs more foundational support.
Bloating & digestive discomfort
Your digestion feels sensitive, and uncomfortable. Meals you've always loved seem to settle differently now.
Your gut runs your week
Your gut keeps you guessing. You're tired of planning your days around food, stress and symptoms you can't predict (always taking a mental note of where the bathroom is).

The evidence speaks for itself.
01 · ANTI-INFLAMMATORY
Many modern health concerns (such as persistent fatigue, brain fog, and skin and digestive issues) trace back to low-grade inflammation. Fucoidan helps downregulate the body’s pro-inflammatory pathways, helping to soothe gut irritation and calm inflammation throughout the body.
In a 12-week randomised controlled trial, participants taking fucoidan showed lower levels of three key markers of systemic inflammation.

02 · MICROBIOME BALANCE
A balanced gut microbiome shapes how you digest, absorb and feel each day. Fucoidan works in a prebiotic-like way: early research, including animal studies, suggests it may nourish beneficial bacteria and tip the balance towards a healthier microbiome.
Emerging research suggests fucoidan may selectively support beneficial gut bacteria, contributing to a balanced microbiome and improved gut function.

In mice, fucoidan from Undaria pinnatifida seaweed increased beneficial bacteria, including Bacteroides/Prevotella, Akkermansia muciniphila and Lactobacillus, and notably reduced the Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes ratio, indicating improved gut microbiome health.

03 · IMMUNE RESILIENCE
A relentless week at work. Poor sleep. Ongoing stress. Your immune system feels it first.
Fucoidan interacts with immune cells to support balance and help the body respond to everyday immune challenges.
A pilot study in athletes found that fucoidan helped restore mucosal immune function and antimicrobial peptide levels after intense training. This suggests fucoidan may help keep the immune system resilient during times of stress or fatigue, especially important when your body is worn down from training, illness, or everyday life.

04 · ANTIOXIDANT DEFENCE
Each day, your cells meet free radicals as part of life in motion. Sunlight, pollution and environmental stressors can add to this load, placing more demand on your antioxidant defences.
Fucoidan shows promising antioxidant activity, helping to neutralise the free radicals that wear the body down.
Reviews of recent studies document fucoidan’s antioxidant activity and the factors that mediate its therapeutic effects.

05 · SKIN PROTECTION
Dull, congested or reactive skin can reflect what is happening beneath the surface.
By supporting the gut environment and calmer inflammatory responses, fucoidan works with the skin from within. In laboratory (cell) studies, it has also been shown to support the skin’s collagen maintenance and help defend against UV-related breakdown.
In human skin-cell studies, fucoidan increased type I procollagen synthesis and inhibited UVB-induced MMP-1, the enzyme that breaks down collagen.
