FAQs
What does it taste like?
Flavoured with functional, natural whole-foods, including orange peel, lemon, and pineapple, the product is not too sweet, unlike many nutritional powders and medicines. There are no synthetic flavours, so the taste is mild with a subtle pineapple twist. It can be easily dissolved in water, juice or a smoothie.
Can I take this when pregnant/breastfeeding?
SeaQuo® Gut Repair contains naturally derived ingredients traditionally used to support digestive health. However, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, your nutritional needs and sensitivities can change, and certain ingredients may not have been clinically tested in these groups. For this reason, we recommend consulting your healthcare practitioner before using this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Your doctor or midwife can help determine if it’s suitable for your individual needs.
Is it low FODMAP?
Yes! SeaQuo® Gut Repair is formulated to be gentle and low FODMAP, making it suitable for sensitive digestive systems and those following a low FODMAP diet. While pineapple and orange peel can be high FODMAP in large amounts, the carefully selected doses used in the blend remain well within low FODMAP thresholds.
Can I take this with other SeaQuo® products?
Yes! Our products are formulated so that they can be taken together. If your main concerns are bloating, gut irritation, irregularity, or restoring gut health, start with a course of SeaQuo® Gut Repair. If your focus is immune resilience, vitality, or supporting general health and wellbeing, choose SeaQuo® Immune, which is suitable and recommended to use on an ongoing basis.
How long does it take to see results?
Most people begin to notice improvements in digestive comfort and regularity within 2 to 4 weeks of consistent use, especially when following the recommended intensive dosage. If your gut concerns are more long-standing or severe, it may take longer to notice improvements.
Is it suitable for people with IBS?
Yes. The formula contains low-FODMAP ingredients and gentle fibres like PHGG, making it suitable for most people with IBS or sensitive digestion.
How much iodine is in this product?
SeaQuo® Gut Repair contains organic fucoidan from Undaria pinnatifida seaweed, which naturally contains small amounts of iodine.
Each 10g serve of SeaQuo® Gut Repair delivers ~31 mcg of iodine.
It's important to note that the iodine content may vary slightly, due to the natural nature of the product, with a maximum potential range of 50 mcg per 10g serve.
